Can't Go Up

This is an odd problem, but for some reason, regardless of whether I push up or down on the joystick, it reads the input as down. Any idea what might be causing this?
For what it's worth, I'm using a PS2 -> USB converter, but I don't know the name of the brand. I've tried with several different controllers, but they all have the same problem.

The pad input plugin is a bit buggy yet! And a converter even create many other problems >_< Try adjusting the settings it might help

Have you calibrated the controller? If so, does it display the same problem during calibration?

Have you connected your pad on the adapter AFTER you have started windows?
