Blights SDL Input plugin detects my Saitek P2500 but doesn't work?

the plugin works properly with my keyboard, but when i try to configure my gamepad it doesn't work. i have the SDL libs installed. also i cannot seem to find the plugin's config file anywhere in the working directory. if someone could help me asap it would be much appreciated.

w0w i'm either retarded or just blind. i unchecked the Plugged part of the plugin & viola! it worked lol.
