I'm building a computer dedicated to PJ64 and lesser EMU's. I Have 2 options.
1st. AMD Athlon XP 2600+ 333FSB
1gb ram and a geforce 3 Ti 200 128mb(im sure the other specs dont matter)

and

2nd. Intel P4 2.8 HT 800FSB
1gb ram and a geforce 3 Ti 200 128mb

Which one wins for PJ64?

Also, how benificial would upgrading the video to a Radeon 9800 Pro 128mb be? (both systems)

Once you have over ~1.2GHz it runs fullspeed in most games anyway, so you won't see a difference.

The P4 Northwood with a 800MHz FSB is going to be better in most things than any Athlon XP, apart from Chankast where the AMD is faster.

Ok, how about the video card situation? Same kind of thing? Once you get over a certain type of video card it doesn't make a differance? I also plan to play alot of 4 player stuff. Like Golden Eye and Perfect Dark and Rouge Squadron.

GeForce 3 Ti300 is sufficient for PJ64's default plugin. You will only have problems playing Rogue Squadron, since it is not supported by video plugins yet.

?????????????????????????
On a side note, that card is horribly outdated. I'd get a little newer card. Preferbly PS2.0 support.
But it works with pj, so it's up to you really.
