A question about performances...

If I up that to 3-3-3-8, there's a huge performance hit (I benched it last night ).

could u pls show some results?
i can have some comparison then
i run dc swirl at approx 70-80 fps

You could be running low on memory.
Also make sure you're not running any unnecessary tasks in the background, like virus-scanner, firewall, anything like that

im not, i even tried killing almost all processes and tasks (no systray icons and process list almost empty)

as ive thought IT WAS a matter of graphic card...

i tried a 9800 xt for a couple of week and... same results as 9500 pro... always still on 45 fps during soul calibur...

now i changed for a 6800 gt and... magic... now i play at 70...

wasnt the graph card not involved in the chankast rendering speed ? :whistling

mmm... id say chanka is a "little" optimized for nvidia's cards...

maybe it is, Soul Calibur goes full speed for me with a gfx 5200 and AMD 2600...
