What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

Invalid texture aspect ratio with GlideN64 (Beta)

I tried this pack on PJ64 using GLideN64 pluging.

Is there a pack that doesn't use the 4x by 2x texture format? Gonetz has stated the following about his plugin.
"I guess you used old texture pack for SSB. As I remember the pack contains textures with wrong aspect, e.g. with 4x width and 2x height. Such textures will not work correctly with GLideN64."

Maybe we should open this as an issue on the bug tracker.

Edit: Issue was opened. Please take the conversation there.

Edit2:
Do to the fact that this is not an issue with a single pack I have moved the post to it's own thread.

To avoid issues with newer packs I would highly recommend that authors create there texture packs with files that are correctly sized.
All video highres plugins support 4x4 texture sizing well only some of them support the 4x2 format.
I am also asking permission to reformat these old packs to be compliant with GlideN64 to avoid issues in the future.

I stopped dead in my tracks on this project..

There are too many texture issues with GLideN64 and SSB. Some textures will dump but will not load into memory.. I have no clue as to why this is??
