What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart

Hi,

Ill explain you the best way i can, i my '' not bad '' english what my problem.

Im trying to play The Legend Of Zelda : Ocarina Of Time N64 on project 64 V.2.1 with community retexture project V6. Using windows 8.

I downloaded Djipi Cellshaded version and it's worked fine. But when i'm trying to load V6 it's going bad.

I Created cache folder in different folder...tried in plugin, plugins 1.6, in texture folder... finally it's was working in that last one. (p64 folder/textures/cache.)

Im using last Glide64, well that part is easy to configure, tried different combinaison too, crc on/off, compress on/off... well nothing can ****ing run it rigth. When im loading the pack, it load, give me a alloca memory issue, restart, working but i dont have all the texture.

Im using another version of p64, V1.7, with mudlord's rice video 6.1.4, other plugins that i didnt configure, with an old pack of texture( i downloaded a torrent all set up ). That **** is working, all texture are there, Problem is : I can't use the emulator anymore, can't pause, can't do a screenshot, can't comeback from fullscren, it's lagging, seem to have major issues in graphic and had to do alt-F4 to close it. Well hate this crap. I wont care if it's just the graphic issue(already ****ing nice), problem is really about project 64 that just froze.

I downloaded a version with 17 parts, unziped it in cache folder. Image is perfect but i can't play more than 15 second before project64 close down. That one seem huge with 725mb loading before, other pack seem to be aroung 400mb.

I dont know what to do anymore...

Help me
