What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart

Can't get HiRes texture to work on project64 2.1

I tried running ocarina of time using a few plugins, but I always get an error: " cn64system::runrsp unknown memory action".

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

OK, got it to work. Kinda.
The problem was, apparently, that Project64 2.1 can't create cache files, so you have to first create them using an earlier version. That's all well and good, but the only plugin I got to work was glide64. The thing is, I want to use the Community Retexture Project pack. The pack requires a cache file larger than 300MB, which is the maximum glide64 is capable of (at least, it's the maximum value I can set the cache to).

That setting has nothing to do with the .dat texture cache.

But it should be able to create the cache files. Have you tried running it as Administrator?
