2D objects transparency issue

I have this problem with many games, every 2d object transparency hides other 2d objects.

I have a low-end video card, so I'm just wondering if there's something I can do or not.

Use Glide64 & eVoodoo.

Glide64 + GlideWrapper worked great, Its strange how this combination that needs to emulate a 3dfx card with DirectX works better than a DirectX plugin.
