hi there
is the 1964 emu discontinued, because the last version 0.9.9 is already 2 years old and no newer news are posted

I mean, I've an older pc (1,1ghz Intel, xp, voodoo3, 512MB, as plugin glide64+zeckensack's glidewrapper+sfftalpha37 & Azmins HLE)
In Project64 the speed are.. :plain: .not the best

On 1964 that the opposit of pr.64 the speed are fantastic :bouncy:
(no freezes etc. :matrix: )

But they many Games not working, which runs again in Project64 :smurf:
and theres few bugs, too (save status,..)

would be great if the development continues :mupen64:

Upgrade you video card and most of the games will work on Pj64 too .
As for 1964 ,although one of the authors stopped working on it ,the other(s?) may be not .
So it is not over till it's over .
Meanwhile ,upgrade.

When there's more news, it will be posted on this forum. Until then, asking about it doesn't help.

just because it's 2 yr old don't mean it's dead
it's means they been taking a break or working on a new version

BUT it's already an opensource, and rice released the Video Plugin code. I hate to guess about dead or innactive of a project, but for me it doesn't smell like other version will be released.

Just upgrade your PC and you will have no problems anymore. It's the quickest thing you can do. That way you won't have to wait for a new release. Once you have upgraded your PC Project 64 will be your best option.
It runs nigh on perfect for me and my PC isn't the best.
