dude, you gotta have the xcomposite extensions loaded in xorg, xfce 4.2 has a built in compositing manager, it looks pretty damned sweet

Neat. You tried setting it up as two separate screens and see how it behaves? I'd be interested.

Yes I did actually, I would have regularly used that setup, but you cannot drag apps from one screen to the next, which bothered me. But it is cool, you have 2 toolbars, can run application on both screen seperately, Would probably be ideal for a Dual Processor Setup.
