i get the world select menu once i have completed a stage how can i get rid of it, all cheats are unchecked

how do i turn off the debug mode in mario 64 as i have unchecked it in the cheats menu but i still et the text: ANG 0 MEM BUFF etc. on the right side on the screen

when playing mario 64 i get some text on the right hand of the screen ANG 0 SPD 0 STA 0 MEM 80604 BUF 42976 can i get rid of it as when i complete a stage it allows me to level select and all cheats are unmarked.
