after playing Conkers once, when it worked fine, now every time I start it, i just get a black screen, the fps is changing though any suggestions?

as anyone got system similar to mine, and can help me optimise N64 on it, I'm getting another 64mb or ram soon so that should help, but nemu only lets you set 8mb vram, I've got 64 to spare, how can I use more??
