All i'd need is the ability to change RSP Plugins just like Video, Audio and Input plugins. Well that and Hi-res textures but thats already being put in via the new video plugin.

I'm pretty sure your RSP plugin request has already been fufilled....

no, its very much impossible.

we have no idea how the voice pack works, whether the game itself holds the voice software, or the voice pak.....

its ultimately impossible to do without knowing how it works

Free camera support? What's that exactly? If it is what I think it is, it's not going to happen.

I think what he was saying is like a built in HyperCam, can record gameplay. If he's actually talking about making the camera in your game be able to move freely then that isn't going to happen.

Nemu has the free camera feature last I checked, so it is definitely in the realms of possibility. It's usage is a bit limited though so I'm guessing it would be low priority to add to PJ64.

Some sort of automatic patch application. Obviously ips can't be applied to games 256Mb or larger, but it is really high time some sort of autopatching becomes available. With three N64 game editors already released and a few others in development, there will be more call for the feature. You have an especial advantage as well, since you would be the first notable N64 emulator to support the feature and therefore can choose or create the format to be used. In addition, it would allow those who hack ROMs the slight convenience of testing an edit without generating a new ROM image.
(try looking at Ninja. It handles the problem of ips vs rom byteswapping)

Also, a quick checksum check would be helpful, at least as a selectable option. This sort of ties into the autopatching feature above. A warning, then allow the option to run the thing anyway with a proper, masked checksum value. Most S/NES emulators do this already.

That's sound like a good idea zoinkity, but I really don't know how big the PJ64 team really is to implement that.

My top 3 picks:
7zip support
Cheat Creation tools
Save selected plugins per game would be great too

Widescreen support would be alright. I have no issues running games at 1680x1050, though.

Keep up the good work.

A Full Screen mode where you can select the roms with a gamepad and ability to launch Project64 via Media Centre this would make project64 perfect for HTPCs
or media pcs
