What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

Hey everyone, I just joined, but have been following a few projects for close to a year. Recently I upgraded to Mac OSX from Windows XP (basically I bought an Apple). Does anyone know where to put textures or if you can even do it on Mac? Thanks Alot!

hi,sorry you cant use hires on mac osx,but you can install windows xp sp2(only)
on a mac intel with bootcamp, and use your mac like any pc with windows.
youll can dual boot with windows xp and mac osx then you just need to install all your games on your windows partition.
ps:
osx cant write on ntfs partition but it can on fat ones.
windows cant read mac partitions (hfs hfs+ etc...)
you ll need macdrive program to read/write your mac partition on windows
windows on mac is like windows on pc,you ll need antivirus antispy etc...

i hope it will help you (me i use it and it work great)
