  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I want A tutorial on making textures please...Because I wanna start my own Hi rez texture and I needto know how...Please help

If you look at the top of this sub-forum, you'll notice a sticky that says "Link to important information, tutorials, threads and textures packages" That's what you're looking for. Stickies are your friend.

Pretty easy,Fantasy..Here are basics:

1-Dump textures from the game u want using Rice plugin,it will be dumped in (Plugins) file..
2-Open them with the image manager u want..I use Photoshop.
3-For better results,increase image size 4 times..For example if the dumped texture was 32x32 change it to 128x128..
4-Do your work..then save it at .PNG format in the hirez file Plugin\hires_texture\Game name

Done :D
