  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I'm redoing Quest 64. So far I have most of the first castle, the first town, and some interiors of the first town done.

I think that it is more than ok. It is more important to have a whole game retextured than working hours on one and the same area. Another point is that some textures may even look better when they have a slight different style than the original.

Nice work on the church windows especially. But nice work all around though. Looks almost like an old DC game. ;)

Man, I love this game!
It´s the only RPG for N64, and the game is just awesome
Your work is great, I´m just waiting to see when you will post a Pack for us

It's not the only RPG, there is Ogre Battle 64 and Aidyn Chronicals off the top of my head, maybe others, Zelda is an action/rpg as well.

I never played this game, because I never heard a single good thing about it. Nonetheless, every game has fans, and WOW! You're doing a sweet job, man. I might even give the game a chance after looking at the retexture =)

I considered retexturing this game.. But then, decided against it. Mainly because the fanbase for this game is small, very small.. Most everyone I have ever spoken to have absolutely detested this game. And well, eh.. It could have been better..

But it wasn't terrible in my opinion, it was pretty fun. (Though for some reason I recall it being a very difficult game.. Maybe I was just bad at choosing my elemental magic skills..)

Ah well anyways.. Good job! I like it a lot. The game looks like it's more "alive" now.

Wow I never realized the original had such horrible textures. Your looks much better. While a some of them aren't staying true to the original I don't think it matters so much for this game. It looks better with the darker more realistic textures anyway.
