ZSNES 1.40 Release Candidate 1 released

It's an exciting time for SNES emulation. After over 2 years, the long wait for ZSNES 1.40 is nearly over! If you're using ZSNES 1.36, I highly recommend that you try this out. S-DD1 decompression is a major new feature; that means that you can play Street Fighter Alpha 2 and Star Ocean without graphics packs!!

Is it just me or is it still written "Version 1.36" in the "About"-Box? Why didnt they change it?

They haven't changed it since really it's a glorified WIP version which is a continuation of 1.36. It'll definitely be changed in the 1.4 version though.
