I have downloaded multiple copies of this rom...each and every time I keep getting Opcode problems...Is this a problem with the emulator or am I just really unlucky?

Are you using the version with [!] at the end?

Get GoodN64 and GoodWindows and scan your rom

I could be wrong, but maybe try increasing the Self-Mod Code method to a higher level.

Alright, I installed the RDB and it worked pretty well for a while, but then I got another Opcode error...

I turned off all the cheats...and it seemed to work fine...SO FAR. I guess I'm going to have to guess and check to see which ones affect it

I'm sorry to be such a pain...Everytime I try to leave the Ranch with Epona (Jump over the fence) I get more errors. I don't have any cheats on either...

It was suggested that you change the self-modifying code. Have you tried that yet? Easiest way is to right-click the game entry in the rom browser. Try Change Memory and Cache; see if that helps.

I did..but I fixed it myself... the infinite carrots for Epona seemed to be causing most of the errors. I would suggest checking this up..

Although cheats are well supported and any problem related to cheats will be investigated you should remember that cheats *do* cause problems on any emulator AND the genuine N64 as well.

I hate to make it sound like cheats are a bad thing but you should always attempt to *disable* any cheats that are currently running by <hopefully> making a clean native save and loading that (this means to use the save and loading options that the game provides, not the emulator). If that clears up any problems then it was either cheat related or a fluke in the game / emulator.

It ALSO helps to actually read the notes that Gent has so kindly provided with the excellent cheat support in PJ64. If you would've read the text that comes with the cheat you would've understood this cheat is highly unstable.

Taken from Notes section of the cheat:
"This is For Practicing,Racing.Warning take this off before jumping the exit fence after winning Epona"

This means the cheat should ONLY be used while you are in Lon Lon Ranch. Although I do admit the note might be worded a bit oddly it should be clear enough the cheat is not one you want running all the time.

Well...I'll admit that was my fault, but thank you very much for the support..I assure you I'll be back whenever I have problems with Majora's Mask =p
