zelda OoT, things dissapering.

When I play zelda Oot I find that things dissapear quite a lot, mainly Items, blocks, and the whole death mountain area. I was just wondering if there is any way to fix this?

Also any Items I pick out of chests/ get given by other chars appear totally silver.

The latter I can live with but the former is extremly annoying, if you can help it would be much appreciated.

A few questions:

What version of DirectX do you have installed?

What version of DirectX does your GFX card support?

Do you have the latest video drivers for your card?

Matrox cards can produce poor image quality (according to the manual) with Jabo's gfx plugin, so you can try another gfx plugin such as Glide64 (Using eVoodoo) which is not so picky about graphics cards. Simply use the search to find out how to use it.
