Zelda OoT Problem..

I am playing zelda and everthing works fine except the numbers on the how many "arrows" or "deku sticks" and those kind of things is just like a green box where the numbers are supposed to be. Also the hearts stay read and do not go down when you get hurt.
Is this just the way it is or is there anything I can do about it? THanks

no i dont have any cheats on it works fine otherwisr except for the startup screen

im playing it aswell no probs but a little laggy at times and my stats are as follows:
2.8 celeron
nvidia fx5100 64mb
512 ram

Try Jabo's Direct3D6 plugin and see if that fixes anything.

i just finished the game n it was all normal ..
i used project64 v1.6 1024x768 32-bit
n my graphics card is Intel 82845G 64 MB
it can be a damaged rom or simply graphics error
