Zelda MM spider house two room problem

In the great bay spider house I've killed 25 skulltulas and I'm trying to enter the last room at the bottom of the stairs but every time I enter the room an error message pops up saying "executing from non-mapping space, verify ROM and ROM settings"

I operate with Project 64 version 1.6

My computer is more than capable with:
Pentium 4
3 gigahertz processor
1 GB of ram
ATI radeon video card

What settings might I change to allow me to get past this?

Mmh... it seems you are using a bad rom. You should check it with GoodN64 or the NoIntro Dat.

I don't think it's bad though, because I've had this particular ROM for over a week. I played through the whole game for hours on end with no problems whatsoever. Then just last night I started getting these error messages as well as the ROM itself freezing up. I was hoping you knew if maybe there's a particular setting to set it to to stop the madness. I'm so desperate to just finish the game.

Why don't you check it with GoodN64 like MasterPhW suggested?

I might but I need to know first how to transfer save files. It's a big deal to me to not have to go all the way back and do it all again in the game.

You just have to rename all the savefiles to the romname and it should work.
But if you really have a bad rom, your savefile could be corrupted as well!
