Zelda MM - hookshot targets are not showing

I am at the entrance of great bay temple where you are suppose to hookshot the hookshot target at the ceiling of the temple to get onto the red geyser. However, the hookshot targets are not showing at all, I had to guess where the target was!

Also, at the ocean side spider house, is there suppose to be a hookshot target at the ceiling that I have to hookshot to inorder to get over the fence? (can anyone do a printscreen of the location of the target?)

Is there a fix for this?

It might be that you're using save states (they're known to cause all sorts of crazy problems) or it might be unemulated in the video plugin you are using. I believe Glide64 is considered the best plugin for Majora's Mask. You should also get in the habit of posting your computer's specs, its CPU, RAM amount, video card, etc.

i am obviously new to the program....how do i save without using save states?

Play the Song of Time (You'll appear back in Clock Town) or Hit an Owl Statue.

I know that part....but if u close PJ64, won't u lose all the data?

Nope. PJ64 writes your save to a file in the save file directory just like the real N64 would (to the battery back-up in the cart)

PJ64 also emulates the Memory Card so you can save those too (N/A to Majora's Mask though, just thought I'd clear that up for other games that use it).
