zelda majora's mask and reset

hi, maybe you can help me..

when i'm playing zelda majora's mask (both in the project 64 1.5 and 1.6) my pc reset! and this problem begun after i've some time of game (+- 10 hours), before this never happens. now i play just a few minutes and :yucky: , and when i reinitialize appears the message 'the system recovers from a serious error', and sometimes ask for scandisk, and never found errors in scandisk.

my pc is athlon 950 mhz, 250 mb ram, video card sis 630-730, win xp pro.

There are a few options to why this could be happening. I had my computer reboot every time I'd play a DirectX/OpenGL computer game. Turns out the powersupply was dying.

If you can swap out the powersupply... check if your computer is overheating first. If it still reboots try swapping out the ram...

If the processor is overheating or the motherboard having bad caps, that problem can occur. It's also possible that the processor chip just went bad.

thank's for all the maybes.. I excuse me because i was not explicit in my problem.. but now i will try: this problem occours just with zelda majora's mask, and with no other n64 rom, nor zelda ocarina of time. and if i load my savestate, pc resets in a few minutes (or seconds); if i re-start the game with no load, +- 20 minutes. maybe something in the rom's configuration? or it's probably a hardware/drivers problem??
