xbox 360 controller(wireless) help plz!

ok so i was skimming through threads ( it helped me finally get the emulator working btw =) ) so ne way, i became intrigued wen i saw the topic of a xbox 360 controller working for it. i wanted to get a controller and wen i saw this i guess the need became void. problem is my controllers are all wireless, i got a play and charge kit however. would that work? the play and charge kit itself has the usb cable, it attaches to the controller via the top so i dunno if this would work but if ne one tried this and knows whether it works or not, i would greatly appreciate the answer. thx! =)

Im using an Xbox 360 controller myself, but u can't use a wireless controller, the play and charge kit is used only to charge the battery pack, in other words, the controller itself can't "connect" to an xbox 360 or a pc thru the cable, it still sends a wireless signal to the xbox 360, the cable is used only to charge the battery pack.

I suggest buying a xbox 360 controller WITH a wire, trust me, its worth it. :bouncy:

why buy a new control when you can just take apart an old Xbox control and wire it to usb....xbox 360 control has better button placement though...

MS are sposed to be working on a usb wireless plug so you can use the wireless control.

Most people aren't realy up to modifying their controllers by taking it apart, most people don't even know how too.

There are adapters, so you don't need to be MacGuyver to use a console controller on your PC.

Perhaps this is offtopic but I really need help. When I turn rumble pack on in the options it constantly vibrates. Is there anyway to fix it? the controler I have is an old xbox controller. Please advice.
