Best of all I think I already have a buyer for my old rig for $500. Almost like making a nice upgrade for way cheap. :)

Cheap and a nice system. :)
But it mentions nothing about any monitor though, which is IMO one of the most important part of a computer.

Most of the equipment is back from company lease. A little dirty, but really good shape. I was very surprised and the monitor I have has been running great for about two months so far.

BTW, I agree Martin, monitor is one of the most important pieces. I do lots of video editing for personal and work. A clear screen, no glare, with high refreash is a requirement.

One day shy of having my new system a whole week and it's great.

I did already order more RAM however. Amazing how much more a system, apprently no matter what speed, thrashes a harddrive while running programs. I was used to having 512MEG when I fell back to 256MEG it was hurtin, lol. So I have another 256MEG on the way.

All in all I am quite happy with the unit. I did end up using only the onboard sound which actually sounds pretty good. A little soft in a few games, but I'm still playing. I also don't like that I can't Oc the unit. Not that I was planning on it, but now I can't no matter what I think. I jusmped from 3DMark 2001 scores at about 8,500 to over 15,000 now. Not to shabby :)

nice deal indeed..
like how much difference between ddr pc2100 to pc3200 ?? i`m getting a cheap 2100 but thinking if it worth more for a pc3200..

HELL YES. IT'S ME!
a LOT. but you need a motherboard that will run at those speeds to see any benifit (200mhz fsb for ddr 400)

put it this way, my system is faster at 200mhz fsb, 1.9ghz than it is at 160mhz fsb, 2.1ghz
