Windows XP Updates & Project64 problem

Hi.

I got the dreaded 'memory could not be allocated' problem today but I knew why, because the only change since I played last night was the installation of a few updates.

I got rid of four, and it worked again. These were:

KB840987
KB833987
KB873376
KB841356

I don't know which of them it was, as I can't be bothered to test it further. Thought that might be of use to someone.

Hi back.

I had it too. You know the dreaded 'falure to allocate memory' error.

It seems to be the KB841356 Update.

According to windows update there is only service pack 2 and KB841356 that is not not installed on my system (I have not yet dared to install service pack 2 and I have just got rid of KB841356 in order to get PJ64 working) and PJ64 is now working.

Thanks for your help in pointing the way to it being one of those four updates.

Now we can all surf the internet with updates missing for the sake of Zelda.
