Will pj64 release the source code ever again?

I noticed that the latest public source code is only for 1.4, whereas the current public binary release is 1.6. Does pj64 plan to release the 1.7 source along with the binary? I think it would be a good thing for everyone, since developers could contribute code for things like netplay, alleviating some of the stress off of developers.

i think the current source (for the app and rsp) will next be released after zilmar is finished working on pj64. that may be when 1.7 is released. video plugin and input plugin sources are not likely to ever be released.

Wow Smiff!

With the donation campaing, I thought that PJ64 was alive again. Now, after your post Smiff, I read that it´s about to be finished with a last release... I rellay hope that my bad understanding of english is leading me to misunderstand your post =]

By the way, when I try to recompile the 1.4 sources with the MSVS .NET 2005, I got some errors relating to missing headers like windows.h. Why? There aren't such headers in .NET 2005?? I know that includes like <stdio.h> are now <stdio> combinated with the use of the std namespace but... what about windows.h?

Thanks in advance. Long life to PJ64.

(Consider another way to donate than PayPal for it´s life to be even longer!! I can't donate because I have no maestro / visa card! :( )

Finished or not, we shall see when 1.7 is released. No point arguing until it's released. Only then can we say for sure.
