Why this is so slow!?

ok so im new in game cube emulators i have downloaded smash bros melee! my favorite game! and now i start it with dolphin emu... and it has only 5 fps MAX its really slow and i CANT start the game because of this slow.. i dont know why its this slow i have a good comp and fps on n64 emulator are like 60 fps... lest see my comp configuration!


Intel P4 2.8 ghz
1024 Ram DDR
graffic card:AtI radeon 9600 PRO 256 DDR with omega Drivers

Or write Big in the mainsite on Emutalk "dont ask why dolphin runs slow"!

Ok, so I can't ask why it runs slow... here's a different question: Is there anyone that can run games with it? Or is it just cool to be able to run it at 7fps?

I don't mean that to sound negative, but I'm really curious if anyone can actually use it.

Many games run, being able to play them is a different matter. Yes, at least one game runs full speed and and is playable.

you can ask why its slow.

its slow because the arcetecture of the CPU in the GC is different from the one in your PC. So the dolphin must emulate the the arcetecture. Which is time consuming, and thats why the dolphin is so slow. I could go into much greater detail, but its midnight, and Im a little tired...

We must not ban everythink that ask....
Only that guys who doesnt read the rules°!
If someone are asking where to get Gamecubegames he gets also banned°!

Then he is to blame himself

Those who asks for roms/isos are banned without questions. But not people who violate the rules in any other way (unknowingly of course). They tend to get a warning.
There is no real solution to this problem. People just don't read rules/faqs.
