Why don't Yoshi's Story work?

I know YS is supposed to work with v1.5, so what's wrong?

Yes. Graphics plugin. Search the forums to find it.

Jabo's Direct Sound 1.5,
Jabo's Direct Input7 1.5

what do you mean it don't work? On 1.5, it works as good as Daedalus D3D8.

That problem signals that it is a bad rom. check if it is a bad rom by using goodn64.

Oh yeah, it works great. It has two issues, though, that can be fixed with the unofficial daedalus plugin, although it generates more problems.
