You don't really need a PSX adapter , you can use of course a n64 adaptoid .
But there are also some Gamepads , which are háving exactly the same design like the PSX pad . I bought one of them for 10 bucks in order to play ff-9 on epsxe properly , they're worth the money ! Though , the pad is kinda noname , but it hasn't fallen into pices , yet :D

I got a gravis elimator pro, but it has no analogs.
So im gonna try to get a ps2 adapter.

Have a Radio Shack close by? $10.49 + tax gets you a PS1/2 adapter, it works well :)

Uh, I'm not sure if this should be in the Project64 forum, but...

I currently don't own a gamepad, but this one certainly looks nice, and it's not very expensive. A problem would be finding a button to configure as the Z button for the N64 controller. But I bet it would be good with other emulators, though. :)

I bought a Saitek P2500 rumble pad last week and it works good. A very nice pad indeed and well made. I always use the 1 button to map the z button cause I use it very often and finally at last, I have enough buttons to to map all on the pad. And a big plus , rumble works with Nrages plugin now. I use my old axispads for extra players they work fine and have dual analog but the rumble drivers of axispads dont work with Nrages. The rumble on the new pad is not very strong with nrages , force is turned all the way up , but I can feel it just fine. I guess an adaptiod would be the best thing to have. I will end up getting one sooner or later. Later

using a logitech wingman cordless here

enough buttons for everything, and I am still thinking whether I should bind C-buttons to the 2nd analog or to the face buttons

Right now I'm using a Gravis Gamepad but me and my buddy just bought an apapter off ebay for $15 CAN. It's both N64 and PSX/PS2 so I'm happy about that. I thought it would just be N64 :).

Speaking of joypads... my newest system doesn't have joypad port so i can't use my sidewinder, is there anyway i could buy a addon card for my system?

I remember old sound cards having the ports, do the newer ones have them? Was thinking of buying an Audigy 2

The best I've seen for emulation is the logitech cordless rumble analog pad (don't know the exactly name) because it's without a cable, has 6 buttons (a&b+the 4 c-buttons) and 4 triggers (l&r+z), a start button, a d-pad and two anas...

I use a Microsoft Sidewinder Gamepad Pro (USB). It's a lot like a Megadrive pad, but with shoulder buttons and an analog d-pad.

It took me a long time to decide which gamepad buy. Finally the Thrustmaster Dual Power (2 or 3 ?) is excellent IMHO. It has everything needed (all buttons, two sticks, rumble) and much more, is great in hands... the problem is those pads seem to be quite hard to find ; it was the case in France. Anyway, if you can get that pad...
