I'd recommend PJ64 1.5 (sp1) w/ Rice's (latest.) I think Rice's is the best for MX's.

I don't know what's wrong with your controller, but I don't know what a "boom Usb N64/psx/ps2 controller" is. The best thing is obviously an adaptoid, which'll let you plug in a real N64 controller. If you aren't using PJ64, install it and sp1 and you'll have the latest N-Rage input plugin, see if that solves the problem.

Er, best? Try them all, then decide which is the best.

The Boom adapters are quite flaky, particularly with N64 pads. If your controller isn't in perfect working order it's going to cause problems, even if it works flawlessly with your console. Buy a brand new controller.

I use Jabo's Input plugin, since N-Rages doesnt work here.

I use Jabo's D3D6 V1.5.1 for GFX.
Rice's is the best for NVidia MX cards, just cause that is what he has on his computer, I have an MX myself, works well with very few errors.

As for emulator, I use PJ64, unless its a game by Rare, then i use 1964.
