I know that N64 emulation it's progressing very fast lately j64: , but, there is some kind of "rom loader emulator"?

I mean, if you have a cable that can be conected to the 64 DD port and a "Rom loader", It's possible to play roms on the N64 Without a Doctor V64? :!!!:

I once saw a project about a cd reader conected to the DD port but never heard about it since then.

I havn't heard of anything like that before, and im always looking for new ways to play roms without a Doctor V64.
