Well like the subject sez ... whats the best way to enjoy Legend of Zelda : Ocerina of Time :)

I tried looking around the board, but I couldnt find it ???

Im currently using 1964 0.8.5 with these plugins :

But some of the 2d graphic backgrounds (mostly the top down views inside a house) are badly drawn on my screen :

Are there any settings I have to tweak ? Or should I use another emulator ? And what plug-ins are the best for that emulator.

thanks in advance people

Well posting you sustem specs would help alot, but based on what I'm seeing I think theres something wrong with your rom or you may have a low quality video card.

I'm sideing more on a corrupt rom because your FPS are 58 and the sprites are rendered properly.

That the best I can do without knowing your system specs.

Grab the PJ64 RSP plugin & put it in your 1964 plugin Directory, The PJ64 RSP is Required for JPEG Backrounds...

Sorry about that ...

Forgot my sys specs :)

Ive got an
Athlon xp2000+
512ddr
and a gf4ti4400 128MB (nvidia 41.03)

and i dont think the rom is bad cuz i ran it through GoodN64 and it said that everything was good... rom filename after rename is : Legend_of_Zelda,_The_-_Ocarina_of_Time_(U)_(V1.0)_[!].v64

Ill try the RSP plugin now !

I still have the weird background using 1964, but with PJ64 1.5 (video and input plugins are the same, sound is jabo 1.5) everything works fine ???

Does anyone have a solution to make it run properly in 1964 ?
If not... then maybe I should nj0y it using PJ64 if I dont run into other problems that is :)

Are there any other known problems with Zelda in PJ64 that make it unplayable (i dont mean the stuff thats in the GameFAQ section :))

I encountered a persistent crash when exiting the Lost Woods when using the default SMCM (self-modifying code method). I haven't played very far, so who knows where else it may occur. Switching to Change Memory and Cache seems to be a good idea.

Don't forget to browse the support page for PJ64.

Yeah I should have mentioned that. No bug is severe enough to prevent someone from finishing the game.:)

Well that was one of the problems i have now with pj64:)

But does anyone know why the top down views are still kinda weird even with the plugin from pj64 ?
