I have Project 64 v 1.6 and I was trying to play Yoshi's Story.v64 ......also I'm not very tech savvy....and i have a brand new pc with a pentium 4 processor. any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.

like i said, i'm not very tech savvy (if at all) and so when i installed it i didn't know what to do next. can anyone help me out? Also, why doesn't my Top gear Rally have sound and what emulator plays .7z files? Thanks a bunch.

Use WinRar or 7zip on .7z files

as far as scanning you rom goes click Here it may help some.

use the search engine on emutalk, the unhandled upcode bug is most likely answered already.
