hey everyone, some help if you can...

1. I have both SSBM and Twilight princess burned as an image dvd using their .gcm files which I changed to .iso files before burning. I also still have the games still on the computer.

2. I followed and did everything it asked (basically going through GCoS 1.5 and "boot original dvd").

3. PROBLEM: when the game tries to load, the common windows error appears saying "dolphin has encountered a problem and needs to close."

Doesn't dolphin try to load the game from the dvd? When SSBM attempts to load, the cd drive begins spinning but then the error pops up. Did I burn them incorrectly? I burned it as an image disk using Nero. When trying to burn with Alchohol120%, it says to put in a blank disk even though there's clearly one in there.

P.S. My computer should well enough hardware as it can run Oblivion and Call of Duty 4 perfectly. I do not have a dual core processor though if that is part of the problem.

Thanks for your time! :)

You tried an emulator that is not really ready for use with many games and another program that is not worth using, that, along with your PC is most likely not top notch.

It takes time and a super PC to run these games at good speeds at this point in the development.

Comparing PC games to emulators has no place here, either.

But the videos posted on youtube show the game working fine on Dolphin with the method I attempted.

I can't really argue my PC not meeting the requirement other than that I don't see how a computer with better hardware than a gamecube won't be able to run it as well.

The game cube hardware is all setup to take advantage of each and every part included in the box and was made to work with it's Software perfectly and nothing else.

You can't play Game cube games on an XBOX360 can you? The 360 has more than enough power to run those games fine, why aren't you playing those games on that system?

It takes a lot of extra horse power to make a game run in a situation that it was not designed to run in and you need something to tell it to play correctly.

I don't know about you but making a program that acts like a GC console is not something that is easy to do and not something i would want to try anytime soon.

Its like the gamecube speaks 1 language slowly... but the computer speaks many languages fast but isnt able to understand the gamecube language so someone needs to translate it for him which makes this situation even more slow!
