Weird issue using Pokemon Yellow through Pokemon Statium

The transfer pack works fine, and I can trade Pokemon between Yellow and Red through Stadium... the problem is that changing anything else on my Yellow data through Stadium, causes my data to become corrupted… so I can’t use items or TMs on my Pokemon through Stadium, and I can’t give myself the Master Balls that I got from Red… and worst of all, I’m afraid I won’t be able to earn my Surfing Pikachu!!!

I’m using Project 64 v1.6 with Nrage’s direct input 8 v2.22 if that helps.

Red and Blue both work perfectly fine, and I can even make changes on my Gold/Silver data’s (with Stadium 2 and yeah, I’ve tried doing it with that one too, same results). The games are all in the same region, and I’ve eliminated any chance of it being a bad dump.

If anyone can help me figure anything out, I’d really appreciate it!

Most likely an issue with the Transfer Pak emulation itself, in which case there not much you can do. As far as Pokemon Yellow is concerned, anyway.

There were MBC writes fixed between 1.81 and 1.83 for yellow iirc, and there are further fixes for crystal in 2.x.
