Yup, we've passed the 8,000 limit :D
Anyone wants to guess when we would reach 10,000?

?????????????????????????
it seems members still don't enter this "required" information :plain:
looking at the profile, it just says "Please enter."
but hola, it's great to see the member count to surpass such a high number!

Meh...
yeah most of these members don't post anything. thats why if i create a vbulletin board, i like guest look around the boards at their hearts content, but if they want to post. they have to sign up.

Yeah, great isn't it? :D

On average we get about 15 new members per day, so my estimate is we would reach 10,000 members in about 5 months. :p

I stand corrected (off to a nice start eh ?? ;) )

I have no clue why I never got my activation mail, as I told you, I also tried retrieving my old password and didn't get any mails that way either

It isn't due to my security settings, that much I know

Sounds like a good idea. If your board becomes popular you don't have to prune 0-posters to keep it running smoothly. I'm far from being an expert on msg.boards, databases etc. but I do know that too many members will slow things down considerably :)

Why the mail server refuses to send activation e-mails to some people sounds odd to me...
