Video plugin error

as soon as i open it it gives me this: Direct3D failed to initialize, video plugin is missing. It wants Jabo's direct3d plugin. Where do i get it. Its no where on this site that i can find. if theres other plugins that work how do i put them on it.

Ensure you have at least Direct X 8 installed, oh and post what graphics card you have. Jabo's plugin is included with the emulator, so you will already have the D3D6 1.52 and the D3D8 versions of Jabo's plugin.

Update your DirectX and your video drivers to the latest version.

I had the same error. The reason was that my PJ64 wasn't downloaded at 100%. I downloaded it again and problem was solved.

Try to set your display mode to 16bit

I installed Dirext X 9 and then uninstalled and reinstalled project 64. still got the same error. Is there any system spec im missing?

Hmm... Could you give me a bit of history on your computer? I want to mainly know if you have Windows 98 up to date, what video drivers you are using, and if possible what motherboard your computer has.

That error doesnt mean that the plugin is missing but that certain parts it depends on could be missing. Not having DirectX 8.0 (or higher) would cause this error for example. Not having certain other things would also pop up the error... I will research a bit more on this and get back to you later.
