Video Card?

What Video Card do you all have, i'm trying to run No Mercy but i get red, green, and blue colors on the wrestlers, i have a
ATI RAGE 128 PRO.

You should be fine if you use what the authors recommend- a GeForce/Radeon level card or newer.

That's because of your crappy card. Use glide64 & evoodoo and it should look better.

whats up with the Geforce 4 mx? Its a good card, it may not be the best, but its excellent and cheap and excellent with those without a AGP slot (me )

My GF4 MX is perfect for emulation. It does a eally outstanding job in pc games too, not to mention it's cheap. For the record, a geforce4 mx is much better than a geforce2 mx.

yeah, theres no point getting a TI version of it unless u wana play bloatware games like doom 3. I'm still quite happy with my old Gf2mx400 though

If you wanna bye a new card and have money buy Radeon , 9700 is the best on the market but cost a lot of money. Geforce4600ti can't compare with Radeon9700. Geofrce is about 10% slower.

Let's rephrase:

* If for emulation, glide64 will suffice; no need for a better card. Glide64 is very fast as you might know.
* GeForce4 MX is a bad card. It lacks good stuff that's on other cards. Don't buy this card; instead, go for a GeForce3 Ti. It's cheaper and better.
* And lastly, don't buy the newest cards! In a month or two, the price will have dropped!
* About the raedon: It's very good and very expensive! This will make the price of geforce4 drop, hence you might want to buy a gf4 instead of raedon later. Or buy a less good raedon.
