Using CPU with faster FSB; need help ASAP

I need to know as soon as possible if I can safely use a CPU designed for a 266mhz FSB in a board with a 333mhz FSB. Will it just run fast or will it burn out or something? (The CPU is an AMD Duron.)

Yes, just fine. The Chipset will run the CPU at its default FSB/RAM ratio. There's no such thing as a board designed "only" for a certain speed. Usually advertised is max running speed of the chipset.

Yay, thanks a bunch. Now if I can actually get these parts... Any good place to buy online in Canada without a credit card? Tigerdirect keeps removing things from their inventory unexpectedly which makes it very difficult to place an order. >_<

Wait, your buying new? Why don't you get something that matches your motherboard speed?
