Trouble viewing the whole menu screen

I recently installed PJ64 v1.6 on my computer (runs XP w/ recommended requirements) and I've encountered one problem that I didn't find addressed elsewhere in this forum or on the main site.

A few of the configuration menus are truncated such that I cannot view all of the options. Below are menu screens for Configure Input and Graphics Configuration.

When I changed the input plugin from Jabo to N-Rage, I was able to view the entire Configure Input screen. Changing the graphics plugin did not fix the problem in the Graphics Configuration screen.

I tried reinstalling the program, but again it did not help. Incidentally, I have two other versions of PJ64 (v1.4 and PJ64k, the latter having online play) that work fine and do not demonstrate the same problem as version 1.6. Any thoughts?

what graphics plugin are you using???

And those screenys make it look as if your got windows 95,98 200 or ME

its never happened to me and make sure you've got all updates from microsft

Thanks death-droid and Clements for your help, but unfortunately no luck.

I restored the Windows theme to default and checked that the DPI setting was at normal. The emulator is running with Jabo's Direct3D6 1.6 graphics plugin (even changed it to 1.5.2, but still nothing). I reinstalled the emulator after making these changes.

I would like to think that the problem is with my computer, but the other PJ64 emulators on my computer do not experience this problem.

Did you change the fonts for dialogs/window titles/etc? You might try changing them to a "default" one, and/or a smaller size.

Yes, it looks like this is the key. Though once you change the DPI setting you might need to restart Windows, I never really messed with that so I wouldn't really know. Go into the "Appearance" tab of the Display control panel, click on "Advanced" and try changing the spacing or font size properties in there. Note that bold fonts take up more space.

On an off-topic note, I suggest you stick with the N-Rage control plugin even if you get this fixed. It'll let you use the mouse!

I've tried changing font sizes, but again no luck (even after restart and reinstall). Could it be possible that the menu is failing to resize? If so, is there a way I could manually fix it?
