That wouldn't be a problem: much like Super Mario 64 DS for the NDS, Animal Crossing is a PORT, not a emulator system. Zelda is an exception because MQ was made for the N64, and was formatted for the N64. Due to time restraints, all they did was change the menu graphics and play it on an emulator. Animal Crossing, on the otherhand, underwent major overhaul, and was edited to be a Gamecube game. Of course, I'm not denying that it's origin has nothing to do with the problem.
