so at first I had a ton of probs getting zelda to run on pj64. I got rid of a recent windows update and it worked great for awhile then it went back to freezing.

so then I get 1964. set up gln64 and everything was fine. but 2-3 mins into the game the speed drops by at least 75% although it says its around 60.

I tried everything and nothing works :(

my comp is capable for this game 2.6ghz 4600ti, etc...

no virus, or spyware, EVERY program has been shut down in the background.
I played with every option on every emu there is. OoT will not run right on any one of them:(

all my other stuff runs fine, all my drivers are up to date, also all my roms are good......is there anything else that I can try to get zelda running at a decent speed and not freezing??

I have AMD Athlon XP 2700+ and ATI Radeon 9800 Pro, OoT & MM work fine for me w/ Rice's Video 5.6.0 using DirectX and I haven't had any slowdowns yet....

I gave up on rice's cause it caused bad graphics. but I just let the game run for awhile with rice's and no freezes or slowdown!! now if someone could help me find the best settings to get decent graphics with this plugin and a GF4600ti I'll be set.

I'm starting to think gln64 and my nvidia didn't get along somewhere along the way.

well, GLN64 0.41 works fine in an GeForce4 MX 440 onboard with any slowdown in Zelda OoT,maybe you are using GLN64 0.4

I got the 4.1, same thing. funny, cause in the text file it says it addresses this problem. I'll keep playing around with rice's for now though. no slowdown and no freezing at least make the game playable.
