This pisses me off...

If 2bzy4ne1 comes crawling back to me, telling me that someone else posted that using his nick, I will find out which IP that posted over at that message board. If it compares to 2bzy4ne1's IP here then he will get serious problems with his internet provider.

BTW, does anyone care if I ban the whole AOL network? 99.9% of them seems to be morons and trouble-makers anyway...

Wait a sec here. How did he know he was from emutalk, and why did he get your email address.

Nevermind, I visited it myself out realized what happened, however if the guy used your e-mail there is a good chance he randomly chose one of our names to do this as well. If it matches, the IP address doesn't lie though. However AOL assigns a new IP everytime someone logs on so that could be a problem.

One more question though, why is this in the Way off topic forum?

Oh my, I gotta say that it is a great case of... eh... uhmmm... I dunno, pure lamenship, or lamery, or whatever it`s called ;)
Are there any more AOL users on Emutalk except of him?

Heres the better question, what good has aol ever done to the internet? ;) (well maybe fund winamp and icq, but its done so much more bad that it cancels that stuff out by far)

IMO, true emulation hobbiests are more on the technical side of things, which pretty much takes them away from the aol demographic, so I could easily justify banning them.

Yeah, I will find out soon enough, since I contacted the admin of that board.

I would put out a notice about about two weeks in advance giving warning. After which, notify any AOL'er who visits the forum that they have to change ISPs in order to post.

IMO, if anybody is serious about the net period, they wouldn't be on AOL, since the ISP as a whole is banned from several major IRC networks/channels/newsgroups/web forums already.

Banning the whole AOL network has been considered before, but I have never really thought it was a good idea, and I still don't. I just had to steam off.

but look how old most of us are.do you really expect some of our parents to change IP's just so we can talk to the people in the computer instead of getting out the house to meet some 3D people. you CANT ban aol and you know this . . . MAAAAAAAN!
Me, im not on aol anymore so i dont care. but just think about it.

What's the difference between AOL internet connection to another internet connection, that attracts troublemakers to AOL?

almost any idot can install aol. Just put in the cd any answer a few questions. Setting up on other ISP usaualy requires a little more computer knowledge, so the lamers tend to do the easiest settup. That way they don't have to think.
