Texture problems with s3 twisterk 16 Mo

HI everybody !

MY spec : WIn XP, DURON 850 Mhz, video card S3 Twister-K (lastest drivers from july 2002) ... 128 Mo ... ok ... ok

FOr some games like conker for example, i have got a texture problm, at the beginning of the game, his head is white but sometimes during the games, it 's back to normal (quite strange).
Another exemple, in Banjo-Tooie, there is no shadows (light games if you want) in the caves.

Except that everything is perfect with 1964.
Can someone help me ?

I get this too, on my second machine. It doesn't have the power to support that texturing. The video card you are using just can't handle it. You can try glide64 and evoodoo, but I can't guarantee success. Works great on my new geforce2 though.

Thks for your answer but it's the first time i use a glide wrapper, how does it work ? For example, i'm still using 1964 and XGl200 but when i start a game (banjotooire ;-)) the emulation fails telling me the glide3x.dll can not be find (there 's a loooong time i was having a voodoo3 but now time has changed), and a more thing, i can not put the glide wrapper in the video plugin ... strange but i think it's new for me and i need some informations right ?

with evoodoo, you have to copy the dlls to the system folder. then it should work better.

I try but it does not seem to work with such a games halas ... it telles me error from opengl ok video failure ... snif i'm unlucky today.
Did U manage to run tooie or conker with such a glide wrapper ?

I haven't, I was able to when I had an actual v3, but I really haven't tried with my GF2.. there are a lot of really good opengl and d3d plugins out now.

Pheww, am I glad I never have use those GlideUnwrappers again... they have given me nothing but trouble in the past. But then again, it might work excellent for some people who need them. I used my first GU with UltraHLE because I didn't own a Voodoo GFX card.

You must accept that with GFX cards other than GeForce 2, 3 or 4 you can expect trouble with GFX.

Thats Glide Wrapper... eVoodoo is comming along Nicely, The Compatibilty is Great with Video cards and there are Some Screen shots of eVoodoo Running a PC Game, RTCW...

Afaik, glide64 doesn't support conker at least.
Tooie should work, though.
