test out my favorite/folder manager
It doesn't have a gui

<font type="arial"> Some websites have long names and some have short names.
Repeatedly typing in the same web address for a frequently visited site can be annoying.

Favwrite is a program that converts a text file of urls into a web page with a title. You can easily access your favorite websites or folders by clicking the links on the web page. Each of the web or folder links on the web page will open in a new window. Read the HOW TO USE section for instructions on use.
</font></h5>
Please do not take credit for it though

Am I missing something? I fail to see the point of this since every browser has a favorites list. ???

The html files are portable
Ok, it has a potential use for cross-browser portability, but creating a text file with my web links wouldn't be any faster than typing them into a browser toolbar and saving each as a favorite. Plus, since backing-up favorites is easy in every browser I've used, porting favorites from IE to IE for example is already easy and doesn't require a program like this.

I'm sorry to knock your program. Heck maybe I'm a fool because I don't see the potential for this, but, well, I don't see the potential. Don't let me discourage you from future programming exploits though.;)

Easier console surfing the web

Easy wii surfing the web

I made a program that converts a list of web addresses in a text file into an html file with a title.

You can upload this webpage onto a webserver and use it as a favorite page for the Wii Opera browser. I used it in the free trial version. This way you will have convenient access to all your favorite sites while wii browsing by going to a single page.

The setup program for windows (favwriteSetup.zip) and Linux (favwrite.tar.gz) is located here: http://www.geocities.com/rich_stol/utilities.htm
