long time no see, huh?
to the point dudes, i am having the following problem, my rig stands up to pj64 very well, but the sound is kinda weird, like the image is faster then the sound, using jabo plugin (LLE) if i sync it to audio i get a small fps slowdown (3fps)
usin a HLE plugin, it gets really choppy an synching to the audio it gets nice but the slowdown is bigger (5fps) my sound card is onboard (CMI9738).
PLZ help.
THX.

If it's an integrated audio chipset, it's a must for you to have updated drivers..same goes for your vid, DirectX and everything else. Your system should be able to handle it..also have you tried using the other sound plug-in, Azimer's?? If that doesn't work, try different graphic plug-ins as they could slow down the game in general and giving you bad fps. Seeing how you have the same card as I do, I updated to lastest DX, motherboard drivers, video drivers and I use Direct64 v0.5 and the game runs great. Try that plug-in..

i am now fully updated and using all jabo´s and the azimer´s plugin states even worst.

At your service, dood!
This is the way I do it:

I use Azimers Audio 0.40beta2 in 1964, set it to sync with sound and disable the speed limiter, usually get perfect sync then, works better with 1964 than project64 this way if memory serves.

Video plugin: Usually jabos.

I usually only play Banjo Kazooie or Zelda and both these games are perfect with the above method(s).

Try to set the hardware acceleration of your audio card lower (set it right next to "none") either from the directX diagnostic tool or from the control panel. If this does not help then it may be because you run the emulator using high antialiasing settings or high resolutions (because of your video card). Does the emulator run faster when you disable the frame limiter and the sync game to audio setting? (Jabo's audio plugin)

Nope, disabling the speed limiter and sinc game to audio did not got the trick done and i know that for some games sliding down the acceleration of the sound card sometimes work, but isn´t that to be a bad setting, you are kind of decreasing speed,
and that would be a sin of some sort, correct me if i am wrong.

Since the emulator does not run faster when you disable the framelimiter and sync game to audio then it's not a sound problem. Maybe you're trying to run games with high requirements (goldeneye). Try to run the emulator using lower resolusions and disable antialiasing from the configuration of your video card.

Meh...
Do you mean if it slows down 3-5 fps or does it slow down TO 3-5fps? I'm using you mean it slows down 3-5fps (as in runs at 55-57fps). That's a known issue as far as I know.

it slows from 55 to 57 fps at almost every game (Goldeneye included), if it is a known issue i overlooked it, sorry fellas!
