Switching discs for Panzer Dragoon Saga in SSF

I'm having trouble with PDS using the SSF emulator (beta R2). At the end of the first disc, when it prompts me to put in disc 2, I try to use SSF's 'CD open' feature, and all I get is a black screen. I also get this black screen when I try to do an in-game reset. Has anyone here been able to switch discs using SSF? Thanks in advance to anyone who replies.

You could just start the game up on the second disc since you have a disc 2 savefile now... worked on my Saturn hardware, should work on the emulator too.

CD Open -> change the disc image in DAEmon -> CD Close should do the trick. I totally don't remember if that works or not for Azel, I think I just loaded up the saved game from the next disc.
