1964 recognises rom but pj64 doesnt plus i cant get it to work please help

ya it is recognized in 1964 and it works there except when choosing guys you cant see the hand makes it hard to understand whats going on every one says it works good in pj64 but this rom doesnt

I cant find anouther rom online This game is my kids favorite its the 32 meg euro rom
using the standard plugins that come with pj64

What was the resulting filename of your rom after you renamed them? If it was:
Super Smash Bros. (E) [f1]
Super Smash Bros. (U) [f1]
Super Smash Bros. (U) [f2] (PAL)
Super Smash Bros. (U) [f3]
Super Smash Bros. (U) [f4] (GameShark)
Super Smash Bros. (U) [h1] (AGS intro)
...then the rom is bad, and would explain the errors. If the name didn't change and was not moved to the N64Ren folder, then the rom is corrupt.

Yep, that's a bad rom. It's not going to work, so I suggest you get rid of it, and download a good dump ([!] being the symbol for it) and that will work for you. (Don't ask where though as it is against the forum rules) Unfortunately no Bad2Good rom patch exists for that particular bad rom.
