Street Fighter 3rd strike...........please help.

I don't usually start with please help but in this situation I will.

First off thanks for such an amazing emulator...............chankast is da bomb.

now I am running windows 64bit I do have chankast 25a runing and deamon tools ( 64 bit ver) and I am able to play cdi image via mounting.....capacom vs snk 2 and soulcalibur.


But the reason I even had a dreamcast before was because of one game only Street Fighter 3rd strike, so I really wann get this working and I will GREATLY appreciate any input you can give me.

I got a hold of a Dreamcast Street Fighter 3 Third Strike (Pal Fixed).cdi which everyone is downlaoding on torrent trackers. but when I mount it and run it I get "io control error".

I tried using a pal bios and flash bin instead of an ntsc one........... no diff same error.

I tried doing what I read on this forum to burn the cdi to a cdr via alcohol 120 then remake the image of that same cdr via alcohol. but then deamon tools din't even detect the image.



I just want to get this game working I even tired looking around where I am to find if they sell the game but was unlucky.


I am open to any sugestions.

DT v3.29 seems to be the version to use if you get I/O Errors. I've never had such problems with any DT version though, or if I did, the image was corrupt. I have the NTSC version of 3rd Strike, so I don't know much about how the PAL version work on Chankast (yes, that 10 fps increase means worlds to me).

Agozer you have a working image............omg please please please can you upload it to an ftp for me and tell me what I would do form there and does the game run well on chankast.
